Wetland lake and open grassland at Boneo Park

Boneo Park is more than a place. The places we remember are rarely defined by the reason we went there. They’re remembered for how they made us feel. That’s what happens at Boneo Park.

Our Story

Where the land shapes everything.

Set across 700 acres of wetlands, woodlands and open grasslands on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, it’s a place shaped by the land, the horses and the people who bring it to life.

For years, Boneo Park has been known as one of Australia’s leading equestrian destinations. A place where horses come first, where grassroots ambition meets elite performance, and where the connection between horse and rider is understood and respected.

But there’s always been more to Boneo Park than what happens in the arena.

Beyond the competition grounds lies an extraordinary natural landscape. Pristine wetlands, ancient Moonah woodlands and open grasslands supporting remarkable biodiversity, including more than 160 bird species and hundreds of species of indigenous flora and fauna.

It’s a landscape we’ve made a commitment to protect. With 200 hectares secured in perpetuity through a conservation covenant with Trust for Nature, Boneo Park is a place where world-class equestrian facilities and environmental conservation exist side by side.

And then there’s everything that happens in between.

Guests laughing over lunch on the deck

The quiet of the wetlands. The sound of hooves in the morning. The energy of a championship. The conversations that continue long after the competition has finished. A long lunch, a walk through nature, an unexpected discovery.

Just an hour from Melbourne, Boneo Park brings together the thrill of sport, the beauty of the landscape and the simple pleasure of being somewhere special.

Some come for the horses. Others for the nature, the food or the company.

Whatever brings you here, there’s always more to discover.
